March for LIFE, March for Ron Paul!

Today is the March for Life in our nation’s capital, Washington D.C.! Last year I joined the March for Life in San Francisco, and after today I will have marched for life on both coasts! There is no issue more important to me than the preservation of Life – and this falls into politics as well with abortion and war (see entry below) – which is why I encourage you all to vote “Dr. Ron Paul for Life”.

Here’s a great Ron Paul for Life video:

When it comes to the other candidates, all of the Democrats are for abortion and of the republicans – both Guiliani and Romney have been vocal and resolute for abortion “rights”. McCain while opposing abortion as birth control (but not incest/rape) he is adamant on federal funds for embryonic stem cell research in this EWTN video however EWTN says Ron Paul is a great Right-to-Life candidate. The problem with abortion “rights” is that no one has the “right” to murder. No one has the right to take your life and you have no right to take another’s. This stems from the very Philosophy of Liberty. Also, no other candidate promotes all “Pro-Life” issues like Ron Paul, who by principle is against: abortion, the death penalty, federally subsidizing embryonic stem cell research and unjust war (following the Christian “Just War Theory”). See just how compatible Dr. Ron Paul and Pope John Paul II are on Pro-Life issues!

Abortion is a matter of “principle”, not “privacy”. Dr. Ron Paul (OBGYN) is “the man of principle” and the ONLY Pro-Life and Pro-Peace candidate running for the Presidency. The Philosophy of Liberty is to protect both Life and Liberty – you cannot protect Liberty without protecting Life! (the ultimate liberty).

Abortion is a easy out for people who are in a tough position and dont have the strength and support to make the harder, but more right choice. The choice of life. Pray for mothers to have strength and pray for our political leaders.

I just found this article fascinating as well
“PRO-LIFE” CANDIDATES SHOULD PUT UP OR SHUT UP

Ron Paul seems to be the only presidential candidate who understands that under Article. III. Section. 2., the Constitution gives to the Congress of the United States the power to hold rogue courts in check and to overturn outlandish rulings such as Roe v. Wade.

Accordingly, Ron Paul has introduced and reintroduced the Sanctity of Life Act (including in the current Congress). If passed, this Bill would recognize the personhood of all unborn babies by declaring that “human life shall be deemed to exist from conception.” The Bill also recognizes the authority of each State to protect the lives of unborn children. In addition, this Bill would remove abortion from the jurisdiction of the Court, thereby nullifying the Roe v. Wade decision. The Bill would also deny funding for abortion providers. In plain language, the Bill would overturn Roe v. Wade and end abortion-on-demand.

Is it not more than interesting that “pro-life” President George W. Bush, along with the “pro-life” Republican Party leadership of both houses of Congress, refused–and continues to refuse–to support Ron Paul’s Sanctity of Life Act? In addition, not a single “pro-life” presidential candidate outside of Ron Paul has even bothered to mention the Sanctity of Life Act, much less aggressively call for its implementation with a promise that, if elected President, he would sign it into law. Not Huckabee; not McCain; not Thompson; not Romney; none of them!

I just came across this article by a Baptist pastor claiming that Ron Paul is the only true “pro-life”[1] (anti-abortion) candidate, even more so than Baptist pastor Mike Huckabee! (Slightly humorous to me.) The writing is a bit harsh at times, especially for a pastor, but I can understand his resentment at all of the other establishment “pro-life” republicans who can “talk the talk” but never “walk the walk” quite like how Dr. Ron Paul does… here’s a snip:

[1] As for “pro-life” issues, I also consider: death penalty, embryonic stem cell research, and unjust wars, etc.

PS – Slightly off topic, but neat to note that the top candidates by donations from the military go towards ending the war: (link from the christiansforronpaul website above – scroll to bottom of page). Some how I think, as a 3rd party candidate – Ron Paul could win “so many” from the left and right – because he is against this unjust war, 100% pro-life but feels (constitutionally) that abortion is a states-rights issue
    Military contributions for Q2
    Ron Paul 26.23%
    Barack Obama 24.02%
